RESIDENCE CAN BE ANYWHERE NATIONWIDE (IN THE CONTINENTAL US) The VP, Portfolio Operations will partner with the CFO of Diversified Health, Director, I&T, and portfolio company executives to develop reporting infrastructure and KPIs, an operational improvement plan and supporting implementation of the strategic plan. The improvement plan will provide a clear vision of the desired end state of the business and a focused and pragmatic plan to get there. A critical role of the VP, Portfolio Operations is to build strong relationships with portfolio company executives, obtain their buy-in for that vision and plan, and to work with them to achieve it. The VP, Portfolio Operations will also lead all operational due diligence efforts on acquisition targets. Diversified Growth at Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) is a new, exciting private equity division that will help drive the inorganic growth strategy of a $10 billion healthcare delivery system in collaboration with Senior Leadership. This is a private equity opportunity with significant capital to invest within a value-based healthcare organization. We are seeking talented individuals with a strong intellectual curiosity, financial/analytic acumen, and relentless focus on understanding the why and not just the how. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Evaluating all analytics and processes for efficiency and effectiveness, with a particular focus on labor productivity, decision support pricing models and other high impact areas Partnering with the CFO of Diversified Health and the Director, I&T, evaluate and prioritize technology investments that clear demonstrate value creation (e.g., EBITDA growth) Partnering with the CFO of Diversified Health and the Director, I&T, develop customized operational and financial reporting packages Develop and implement annual operational improvement plans Serve as an interim portfolio company COO or other executive as necessary Partner with the BSMH internal performance improvement group to share best practices and leverage resources Manage the Director, I&T for adherence to implementation deadlines and performance Create framework of analyzing revenue streams, offerings and relationships to produce insights that will optimize business growth and revenue. Develop and implement operational M&A diligence and integration playbook for acquired portfolio companies. REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field -Minimum 7 years of experience in private equity portfolio operations role, private equity performance improvement consulting role or similar leading operational improvement plans and projects for portfolio companies - Desire to build a portfolio operations function - Healthcare technology experience / background - Intellectually curious with a start-up mentality - Strong business acumen and executive presence PREFERRED:

Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
InvestmentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
