Position Overview:
Reporting to the CEO, the Logistics and Operations Manager plays a vital role in a growing and innovative engineering company, providing both logistics and operational management support, tracking operations, inventory, and personnel management.
Job Duties:
? Works closely with the CEO on various operations of the company including logistics and supply chain management, production cycles, process flow, people management, and more.
? Track production status with the manufacturer and note status in company systems ? Manage inspection process with external QC company and review report results to determine if products need to be re-worked before shipment.
Review subsequent reports and approve shipments ? Work with the shipping company to arrange international import logistics ? Track product shipping and inventory in each warehouse using the IMS system and project management systems ? Conduct cycle counts and ensure correct inventory levels across warehouses ? Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements ? Manage the mechanical technician and the in-house knife inspection process for warranty and repairs ? Manage the outbound shipping processes and personnel ? Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations ? Maintain relationships with key operations vendor and retail partners
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree (Business and/or Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or relative degree) ? 5-8 years of related experience in operations, logistics management, inventory management, and people management.
? Good computer skills (Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Softwares, IMS and CRM softwares) ? Strong communication and critical-thinking skills ? Must have strong attention to utilizing safe practices ? Ability to work self-directed ? Versatile and flexible, enjoys working in a small business environment Working Conditions:
