Position Overview:
As a Member Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our members receive the best possible service.
You will be responsible for addressing member inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our health insurance plans.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Assist members with questions related to their health insurance coverage, claims, and benefits.
Process member requests, including enrollment, changes to coverage, and disenrollment.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex member issues.
Educate members on available resources and support services.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of member interactions.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to navigate and use relevant computer systems and software.
Knowledge of health insurance terminology and processes is a plus.
Empathetic and patient demeanor when dealing with member concerns.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
