Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing and advertising to tenant screening and lease signing.
Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
Respond to inquiries and provide information about the property, lease terms, and rental rates.
Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and rental history.
Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are signed by both parties.
Collect rent payments and handle any tenant concerns or maintenance requests.
Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions.
Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in property leasing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of leasing laws and regulations.
Proficient in using leasing software such as OneSite or Yardi.
Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is preferred.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations with tenants.
Basic understanding of property maintenance and repair processes.
