Assist the organizations leadership in exceeding the organizations financial and strategic objectives through accurate forecasting and playing and advisory role in order to establish action plans to resolve financial indicators. Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data
Prepare financial models, business narratives and presentations which at times will be submitted by the incumbent to the company's senior
Review of month end close for operating results of the businesses, through EBITDA, analyzing results to current estimate, budget, and historical results. Provide relevant documentation of variances through monthly business review process.
Champion continuous and measurable improvement in the Company's financial and operational processes and practices.
Ensure that US GAAP accounting guidelines and reporting practices are followed.
Manage, coordinate, and review the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and special reports for senior level management and executives.
Identify and report to immediate
any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules, regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards.
Supervise and mentor Accounting and Financial team. Must have the ability to supervise staff at remote locations if needed.
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Problem Solving

Decision-Making: Review and approve regulatory reports to be submitted to the regulators and presented to the Senior Management for final approval and signature, in order to assure timely submission and accuracy of regulatory. Organize tasks and delegate workloads to subordinates. Set daily priorities for work group.

Challenges: Follow US GAAP guidelines in reporting practices. Need to have the resolve to address interruptions, changing multiple priorities, and attaining project approvals.

Stressors: Strict deadlines. External audits, special projects, and preparation of quarterly, bi-annual and year-end reports, coupled with scheduled monthly reports, resulting in extra hours due to time constrain.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
