# Job Description
First Data Global Leasing (FDGL) is looking for a customer service representative to work in a fast-paced inbound call center. FDGL specializes in providing merchants, agents, bank partners and ISO's with cost-effective solutions for leasing quality Point-of-Sale (POS) equipment. The Customer Service Representative receives telephone calls, which are widely varied in content, and frequently requires deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Customer Service Representatives will be expected to develop a thorough and clear understanding of the terms and conditions of the FDGL lease agreement. This knowledge will enable the assigned representatives to effectively communicate those terms and conditions to any lessee with issues or concerns regarding their respective lease. All Customer Service Representatives are required to communicate in a professional and respectful manner at all times when speaking to a merchant, alliance or channel. They must have strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to listen and resolve issues and disputes and follow through to the satisfaction of the lessee.
# Job Specific Responsibilities
Handles inbound calls, which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Handles customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone. May answer inquiries, resolve problems, and promote products/services. May receive and respond to customer service inquires via mail, fax, or email. Researches problem areas and documents processes used to correct issues. Customer service is the primary function, but may include minimal selling or promotion of products or services.
# Candidate Requirements
One to two years experience, preferably call center or customer service experience.
Must be fluent in English and French

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
