Purchasing Coordinator - Fort Lauderdale, FL Area

Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the Purchasing Coordinator is to manage AS400 from a plan creation and base house cost management ensuring that our costs are accurate and to create the EWO's generated from the Construction team. The Purchasing Coordinator will also serve as the liaison between our trade partners for billing/payment questions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Set-up base house costs in AS400 for all subcontractors / suppliers for all new plans /communities
Release budgets for base house costs for all new starts
Build and manage lot specific budgets
Create EWO's in SHOP for all approved Extra Work Orders
Research and resolve Vendor disputes, including pricing issue, invoice and contract discrepancies
Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management


Technical competencies:
Education: Construction, Business, or other related field.
Experience: A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant previous similar work experience in the residential construction industry is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
