JOB OBJECTIVE:
Full time trainer to travel to apartment complexes and other properties and train the on-site property maintenance staff on the proper use of our products.
IMPORTANT:
This is a new position and once the training programs are fully developed the position will require approximately 75% overnight travel.
The successful candidate will have the following
Experience:
Experience training individuals in the construction industry.
Experience performing property maintenance on buildings is a definite plus.
Ideally a mixture of experience at garden style apartments as well as high rise apartments, Very comfortable using hand tools and repairing concrete and wood, Able to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds, Very comfortable speaking to groups of 20 maintenance personnel and sub-contractors, High attention level to details, ensuring the training is done thoroughly and consistently time after time.
Exceptional time management skills, respectful of the timeline of the training sessions.
Exceptional organizational skills, having the ability to plan and coordinate future training sessions, Must have an engaging personality that can maintain the attention level of the audience for two to three hours, Must be capable of maintaining control over the training session, not allowing the audience to drift off track or become unruly.
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Requirements EDUCATION/
Qualifications:
The trainer will travel to apartment complexes throughout the country but mostly in the south eastern portion of the United States.
The trainer will train groups of 15 - 25 property maintenance personnel and subcontractors on the use of six to eight of our products.
This training will be a combination of power point presentations, videos and hands on training using our products in actual applications.
The presentations will walk the audience through the applications each of our product could be used for.
Each training session will last about three (3) hours.
