Vehicle Description Beautiful 1961 Black Cadillac Coupe, Series 62 with 62,000 original miles.
Up for sale is my 61 Coupe.
This car has matching numbers, is in excellent condition and runs and drive great! I am the 3rd owner.
Prior owner bought the car from a close relative in Ohio back in 1996 who was the original owner.
Car had 58,000 miles on it a time of sale in 1996.
The car then sat for many years until a true to factory interior restoration was done about 6 years ago.
Every effort has been made to keep this car completely original during restoration.
All the chrome is in perfect shape! According to a restoration shop I took it to, the repaint is about 6 years old and about a grade 8 or 9.
The vehicle has new carpet, headliner, windows, door panels, and upholstery all correct for this year.
Recently had all new brakes installed.
The car did not come with A/C however I did buy a complete original A/C system from another 61.
I have not put it in and will not put it in because some purists would say that devalues the car.
So, I have two big cardboard boxes with the AC in the trunk ready to ship with the car.
There is no invasive rust on the frame.
